With a career spanning 10 years across early years, safeguarding, children’s residential care, psychology and HR, I bring a wealth of experience in supporting children, families and the people who care for them.
I created Dots & Tots because I wanted to build the kind of nursery I would choose for my own children: somewhere warm and homely, where children are truly known by the people caring for them and where childhood is authentic and isn't rushed. I wanted a setting filled with real experiences, outdoor adventures, animals, creativity, curiosity and plenty of opportunities to play and learn.
For me, Dots & Tots is much more than a nursery. It's a community where children, families and staff can feel that they genuinely belong.

With 5 years of experience across early years, I’ve progressed through a variety of roles including Preschool Room Lead, Deputy Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead. I’m passionate about supporting children and families and creating environments where children feel safe, confident and truly able to be themselves.
I have always loved the fun and rewarding side of working in early years — and I’m definitely not afraid to be a little silly along the way! I believe that sometimes the best experiences come from getting involved, getting messy and seeing the world through a child’s eyes. I’m a big believer in giving things your all — if we’re going to create an experience, I want to throw myself into it, see it through and make it something really special.
At Dots & Tots, I’m passionate about creating meaningful experiences that children will remember, encouraging curiosity, exploration and creativity while giving children the freedom to simply be children. I want every child to feel that they belong, have opportunities to thrive and leave with memories that will last long after their time with us.

Nugget takes her role as Chief EGGecutive Officer very seriously… when she isn’t laying eggs, demanding attention or supervising everyone from somewhere she definitely shouldn’t be.
As one of the most important members of the Dots & Tots team, Nugget specialises in morale boosting, overseeing important nursery business and providing cuddles on demand. Her team of poultry experts will be helping our children learn about caring for animals, kindness, responsibility and where our food comes from.
With her impressive BSc in EGGonomics, extensive experience in egg production and a natural ability to rule the roost, Nugget considers herself more than qualified for senior management.
Her leadership philosophy is simple: plenty of snacks, lots of cuddles and absolutely no ruffled feathers.
