Payment Information
Nursery fees are payable monthly in advance and are due by the 1st day of each month.
If payment has not been received by the 3rd day of the month, we will contact families to discuss the outstanding balance. Where fees remain unpaid, the nursery reserves the right to temporarily suspend sessions or issue one week's written notice to terminate the place, in line with our Terms and Conditions.
Funded Childcare
We are pleased to offer funded childcare places for eligible families, including:
🌿 30 hours funded childcare for eligible working families from the term after their child turns 9 months old.
🌿 15 hours funded childcare for eligible two-year-olds.
🌿 Universal 15 hours funded childcare for all three and four-year-olds.
Funding is offered on a stretched basis across 51 weeks of the year, allowing families to benefit from consistent childcare throughout the year rather than term-time only provision.
At Dots & Tots, we are proud to provide a high-quality, authentic nursery experience within a beautiful, nurturing environment. We invest in our provision to offer children experiences and opportunities that go beyond the funded entitlement and minimum requirements.
Government funding covers the cost of your child’s funded place and delivery of the EYFS, but does not cover additional provisions such as meals and snacks, daily consumables, enhanced activities and additional experiences.
Families accessing funded sessions are therefore asked to make a voluntary contribution towards these additional provisions, helping us to continue offering the rich and varied experiences that make each child’s time at Dots & Tots special.
Eligibility for funded childcare is set by the Government and families are responsible for applying for and maintaining their eligibility through their childcare account.

Families can check their eligibility and apply for funded childcare here.
You can also use the Best Start In life website for more information and again to check eligibility.

Eligibility Code
Once approved your will receive an eligibility code which you must provide us in order for funding to be claimed on your behalf.

Recording Your Eligibility
For working family entitlements, you will need to reconfirm your eligibility approximately every three months through your childcare account.
Failure to reconfirm by the deadline may result in your funding ending for the following term.

Required Documentation
A copy of your child's birth certificate or passport is required before their first day at the nursery.

A valid eligibility code must be generated before the start of the funding term. Applications can take a few weeks, so please apply in plenty of time, as unfortunately we cannot use codes generated after the current funding block has commenced.

Paying Your Nursery Fees
Fees are payable monthly in advance and are due by the 1st of each month

Tax Free Childcare
We accept payments through the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, helping eligible families with the cost of their childcare fees

Absences and Closures
Because places are retained throughout the year, full fees remain payable during absences, including illness and family holidays, as well as Bank Holidays and the nursery Christmas closure period.
